While spending time in Napoli in the summer of 2022 I was fascinated by women I met at the public city beaches. The attitude, the fashion, the joie de vivre, the community. It took me almost a week to muscle up the courage and many failed attempts to make these portraits. Tough crowd. I have shot countless strangers on the street, these series were by far the most challenging.
